In 2007 Bend Sinister released their next album the self titled BEND SININSTER EP. The album ventured further away from the more Prog/Math rock roots of the band, and was the start of the equation of trying to balance the perfect mix of indie, pop, rock, and all the various influences of the band. The line up remained mostly the same with DAN MOXON, DAVE BUCK, NABEN RUTHNUM, JON BUNYAN, and KEVIN KEEGAN, though 3 of the tracks were recorded months after with new interm drummer MIKE MAGNUSSON when Kevin left for school in Montreal. MIKE MAGNUSSON while playing on the album would shortly after be replaced by current drummer JASON DANA in the fall of 2007. The album features the single 'TIME BREAKS DOWN' which was voted one of the top 10 songs of 2007 by grant lawrence of CBC radio 3, the voice of Canadian indie
